Margaux Leffas

Margaux Leffas from California, trained, taught, and competed at San Diego Dance Centre, where she studied tap, jazz, ballet, and lyrical under the direction of Sharon Keller, Michelle Miner, and Lynn-Rae Hiers. Margaux is highly know for her turn technique and tap. This has brought her many opportunities across the country. Margaux earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with emphasis in Dance at University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 2015. Margaux has been teaching for 19 years and has earned prestigious awards such as top overalls, highest technique scores, and choreography awards. Her success is shown through her students, from being on SYTYCD, WOD, and so much more. Margaux has worked dance competitions for over a decade and emceed at Spotlight Dance Cup and now Turn It Up Dance Challenge. Margaux has judged for Just Dance Invitational, Legacy Dance Championships, Spotlight Dance Cup, LEAP, Journey and continues to
judge for Starquest, KAR Productions, Energy, Turn It Up Dance Challenge, and ONE Beat.
Margaux, also is involved with high school judging ; WCE. Margaux looks forward to sharing knowledge with you.

JOHN LISELLA

John is an alum of the Hofstra University Dance Team. He is a 5x UDA National Champion (2x DI Pom, 2x DI Game Day, 1x DI Jazz). He is also a 1x ICU World Champion and was part of the 2023 US National Pom Team when Hofstra was selected to represent the USA.
John is also a part of UDA College Staff, where he travels the nation working with college, high school, and middle school dance teams. He is also an instructor for Dominate Technique, choreographs for several teams and studios, and is a Pom Technique Coach for the Holy Angels Dance Team.

MIYAH HENDERSON

Miyah Henderson (born in Greenville, South Carolina) lived and trained in Atlanta, GA for most of her adolescent years. Miyah moved to New York in 2016 after finishing high school, and now considers New York, specifically Brooklyn, her home. She graduated with a BFA in Commercial Dance and a Minor in Creative Writing from Pace University in 2020. Miyah is now signed and represented by Clear Talent Group in both New York and Los Angeles and has had the opportunity to work bicoastal over the last couple of years. She has had the privilege to work with some of the finest industry professionals on both the east and west coast. Miyah continues to book work in both tv/film and live stage productions. You can see her in the feature film “IF” starring Ryan Reynolds (choreographed by Mandy Moore - assisted by Al Blackstone) and Vanessa Williams music video for her comeback single “Legs” (choreographed by Rickey Tripp). Miyah also took on the role as a swing for the immersive show “Hypnotique” at the McKittrick Hotel and performed in the 2024 holiday season production of the Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center. Miyah has also had opportunity to dance alongside artists such as Lana Del Ray at Fenway Park. Combining her love for fashion and dance, she danced in Gigi Hadid’s “You Can’t Stop the Beat” visual that was released in the March 2025 issue of VOGUE. Most recently, Miyah can be seen in Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” music video choreographed by Mandy Moore.
Miyah loves to perform, but she fell in love with teaching in her teenage years. She believes that all of her professional experiences continue to enhance her teaching style and choreographic voice. Her hope is to instill the love that she has for dance in generations to come while simultaneously helping to build confidence within each dancer that walks into her classroom.

JODIE POINTS
JAZZ PROGRESSIONS

Hailing from Central Pennsylvania, Jodie Points trained in a wide variety of styles with a concentration in Cecchetti ballet. Jodie went on to Hofstra University with a major in dance, where she studied ballet and modern with Lance Westergard, Robin Becker, and Cathy McCann-Buck. During college, Jodie discovered and cultivated her love of teaching dance, which led her to the success she’s achieved today. She has been on faculty at Dream Center Dance Academy for 20 years where she teaches ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, contemporary, lyrical, and progressions. She’s proud to have developed and guided dancers into becoming National Champions and Title Winners, while also receiving Choreography Awards. She has also had a piece nominated for a prestigious “Industry Dance Award”. Her students have gone on to have thriving dance careers professionally and collegiately, including a Tony Award Winner from “Billy Elliot” on Broadway, collegiate and professional pom and dance team members, cruise ship dancers, and more.
Known for her “tough kindness”, Jodie prides herself on drawing artistry and intention out of her dancers. She continues to educate herself at various teacher workshops, and is certified through Dance Masters of America, Progressing Ballet Technique, and Youth Protection Advocates in Dance. Jodie’s words have been published in Rhee Gold’s “DanceLife Magazine”, where she was interviewed for being one of the most prominent judges from leading dance competitions in the US.
Jodie sits on the T.A.S.K. Board for KARBOW Productions, a panel dedicated to providing excellence in judging dance competitions, and is now the judge trainer and manager for Turn It Up Dance Challenge. She has judged for Turn It Up Dance Challenge, Kids Artistic Revue, Rainbow Dance Competition, Ultra Dance Tour, StarQuest International and Revel Dance Convention. She has taught master classes around the country, including classes for Starquest, Dance Masters of America, and at various studio intensives. Jodie is also active within the organization Dancers Against Cancer, where she continues to fundraise for an organization that assists dancers and their families who are battling cancer. Jodie continues to inspire dancers nationwide, living by her motto of, "You get what you give."

info@NYC native Angelica Lopez has performed with Beyoncé, Willow Smith, Enrique Iglesias, Jose Iglesias, in commercials for Britney Spears Twister, Lady Gaga Google Chrome, Nickelodeon, and appearances spanning the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to Carnegie Hall and the Miami Dolphins Halftime Show. A former NY Mets Queens Crew member and current Brooklyn Nets dancer, she’s also an award-winning choreographer, master teacher, and adjudicator, having taught at Broadway Dance Center and Boss Kids Company while working nationwide at top competitions and conventions. She loves to mix her Latin heritage through all styles and hopes to spread the culture with all her students and audiences!
